Just out here running a 5 star restaurant for my chickens again 🐓👩‍🍳
Today’s gourmet special includes spinach, carrot, corn, a few cherry tomatoes, cucumber, oats, crushed crackers, herbs & spices… plus a seafood twist with tuna and sardines. Honestly, they eat better than I do some days 😂
Yes, their pellets already cover their nutritional needs… but where’s the fun in that? A little extra mix like this keeps things interesting, adds some variety, and makes them very happy (and slightly more demanding 😅).
Everything in moderation of course, this is just a treat, not the main menu. But let’s be real… once you start, they expect it.
Anyone else got chickens living their best life like this? Or is it just me being a full-time chicken chef? 🍽️🐔
