Matcha Tasting Workshop
10:30am - 12pm, Sun 18th May 2025

We all love a bowel of tasty matcha. In this matcha tasting session, we will take you a journey to explore some matcha history and culture, will teach you some skill to distinguish different matcha quality, and will practice how to prepare matcha in a tea bowl and enjoy some really nice matcha whisked by yourself.

- Enjoy a Bowl of Matcha Whisked by Yourself with Some Snack.

This matcha workshop we will be tasting Yamamasa Koyamaen Collection. The tea farm started from the beginning of the Edo era, is a tea wholesaler that still has its own tea field at this very same place – Southern part of Kyoto, with Uji in the center.

JAPAN TEA RESEARCH TRIP

April 2025 - right in the middle of tea harvest season.🍃

(Osaka - Uji - Shizuoka - Kagoshima - Yame - Fukuoka)

We are going to visit tea farms across various of regions and and will bring you back some best teas and matcha 🍵 in Japan.

Look forward to learn and taste all these ceremonial grade matcha from the different regions, farms, varieties, cultivars and craftsmanships of blending.
