News from Tori and Mike xx

After 3 successful years in business partnership together, Mike has decided to hang up his apron and retire from hospitality. I am so proud to announce I will be continuing the journey as a solo operator and lead Glory into the future.

This year has been a year of change and new chapters for us. This is an exciting time, and an opportunity to reflect on how we got here and where we will go next. We have done so much in such a short time and it has been incredible to have had each other’s strengths to lean on when we have needed.

Our cafes are hand built. We never set about to invest crazy amounts of money into our fit outs or disingenuous values that don’t represent who we are or what good honest food and coffee means to us. And we are both so proud our community chooses to support us in this each and every day.

3 year’s ago, we kind of accidentally bought a cafe. 6 months later, we kind of did it again. Having not worked a day together prior to either of these decisions, its wildly awesome that we aligned so well. Our spaces, our culture, our people and everything Glory Us has become its a reflection of me and you Mike. So grateful for all of it. Especially grateful to bid you farewell as a friend.

So please wish Mike well on his new adventures with Pippa in tow…. You will see him at the cafes still. I mean, where else would he go for coffee and sangas in Melbourne?

Lets get some conversations happening. Let’s create some change in our industry. Lets share our resources and support each other.
I have some incredible tools, spreadsheets and systems that work well within my venues. I use these tools daily, and on consults and menu builds. I am happy to share them.
Maybe you have some tips and suggestions for others that may also help. Lets deep dive. Our numbers are the key to survival.

I am really looking forwards to this one.

Pumpkin & poachies, everybody’s favourite- it’s a classic of ours for a reason!
Here for a good time not a long time. Roast j*p pumkin, perfect lil poachies, burnt butter, creamy hummus, sprinkling seed mix and herbs from out garden. 🥚🌿🧈
