Hi everyone! With life getting more expensive and my kids telling me they’re hungry every 5 minutes, I have to go back to cooking to help make ends meet. Still recovering so will only do small cooking work. 🙏

I can’t go back to doing Monday evening Take Away but I can take on some Private Chef work for small gatherings or small meal prep orders of my dishes. TRIGGER WARNING: Blood 🩸
On Monday morning a ram rammed me into a cattle yard fence when I was fixing the fence at the farm I work as a Farm Hand for. One moment Im cutting wire, the next memory I’m slumped over the metal fence with blood gushing from the artery on my forehead, couldn’t feel my legs and arms, and no one hearing my shouts for help. Eventually got control of my shoulders and pushed myself down backwards. Got control of my hands and called for help. Didn’t bleed to death by myself (not today satan!).

Paramedics couldn’t stop the bleeding in my head because the artery was nicked. Someone had to press with their finger the entire drive to the RAH my artery. ED had to do creative stitching to get it to stop. Did my CT and MRI and eventually got settled in to the Spinal ward. They’ve admitted me and testing for monitoring.

Update:
I was discharged last night. Most painful experience I’ve ever had is this nerve pain all over my fingers and arms. It was my entire arms when I was on the ground and by discharge time a day and a half later it was down to my thumbs, pointer fingers, and the muscles on my forearm connected to them. It feels like pins and needles but I can feel each pin and needle and the pain is 20 of 10.

Please pray specifically for recovery for this because I can’t use my hands, too painful. On oxy pain is down to 10 for 10.

Other than that the CT and MRI scans were all clear. I have an OT plan for these next few days. Hopefully I recover fully. Thanks for the prayers and messages everyone! Sorry can’t respond by text to all the messages, hands get tired easily lol
