We all love burgers, but if i could steal your attention away for just a second to ask a favour.

Below is a link to survey that has been developed as part of an honours research project at UniSA about understanding factors that influenced how people voted in the 2023 Voice to Parliament Referendum.
If you are over 18 years old, an Australian citizen and have a spare 15 minutes then I would really appreciate if you would consider participating in the survey and sharing it with your friends and families on social media once you’re finished.
This would go a long way to helping this study to achieve the numbers It needs to be viable for publication as well as helping me contribute to the scientific research around voting behaviours and what is important to the general population.

DASHBOARD BURGER TIME!!

A lot of my reviews tend to be near the city, west or South. Theres reason for that, and that reason is not that I don't want to travel for buyers, i'll happily drive 45 mins for a burger if I hear it's good. Its that the east and north I'm sorry to say have been totally sh*te when it comes to burgers. I'm sure there's plenty that disagree but if we're being honest, they don't know what they're talking about...I do.

Let's start with some history. This page STARTED in the east! Back in the day when Nordburger emerged in Norwood, a little buddy told me about it and we went to have a geez. I was blown away by how good it was! Bloody made me rethink every burger I'd ever eaten!! I felt obliged to tell people about this place and BBIA was born. Since that time many moons ago, dozens of burger joints have popped up and Nordburger in my opinion has gone to the dumps (might have something to do with every kitchen being run by 16 yr olds).

Also Back in the day out East where yours truly spent his formative years, there was a tiny little shop on magill rd called Burger Foundry. This place was awesome but it took 45 mins to get a burger because it was one guy making everything from scratch and a line of people 10 long waiting. It was one of original reviews but sadly like Nordburger as they got more popular, they expanded and the burger quality like your mum, dropped faster than a starving man on Xmas ham. So they also got one of my first bad reviews.

Flash forward I'm gonna say almost 8 years. I'm working out East and I decide...f**k it, I'm a fair man. Let's give the foundry another whirl.. and you know what?... I did NOT suck!

This is a genuinely delicious and well put together burger. Meet the AUSSIE BEERENBURGER. It has a large beef patty, bacon, egg, beetroot, tomato, mesculin greens, cheddar cheese, aioli and beerenburg relish finished on a GREAT white bun that's perfect sized, dense for the mess and tastes great.

Now I'm not usually for "aussie" style, or as I call them "fish and chip" burgers and y'all know I want those pickles, but this place proves that I can be done well with fresh ingredients.

The meat had a bit too much going on and could be improved but otherwise this is as good a burger as I've had in the last 6 months. Well done to an Adelaide oldy for lifting there game. If your in the eastern suburbs (I'm not sure about their Henley beach rd shop) make sure to go give them a go cos as far as I'm concerned there f**k all else around.

EVENING BEEF BANDITS!!

A little appreciation post for my bro's and ho's down at Barry's Semaphore. Went for an impromptu burger today and I totally forgot how good this place really is!
I stole the photo from their IG as takeaway photos just don't do it justice but...meet the CAMEMBURGER. It's f**king dope! Beef is perfect, cheese is perfect, sauce is perfect and bun is perfectamundo! Best of all though, plenty of pickle dicks!

I would definitely rate this place Best in the West at the moment so everyone take note.
I'm very lucky to be able to call this joint my local so brave the weather once and while and get down to sunny semaphore and give it a whirl if you haven't already.

Happy hump day for you essential motherf**kers! For all the rest of you, wipe your arse, gather up ya coins and get ready to be disgusting 🤤 BREKKIE BURGER REMIX!

This one's coming to you from Duthy St Deli Cafe. A stomper B&E to put on your list on your next essential travel and a cool little cafe to boot!

Noice big white sweet bun that had some density to it (very important with a good B&E), double egg, lashings of delicious crispy bacon and probably most importantly...plenty of creamy melted cheese! Enough to bring any hungry man to his breakfast knees. Top it off with with some sawwcce of your choosing and you've got yourself a morning delight for the ages.

For those of you playing at home, so far this and Loose Caboose are holding the titles for best Brekkie Burgers in ADL so far.

Obviously you'll have to get it takeaway these days but just a tip for young players, eat it on the car bonnet, goozy egg doesn't wipe off your pants.

ALRIGHT STOP!! Stop playing COD, stop watching netflix/pornhub, stop contemplating how you're going to make 2 rolls last at least 2 weeks. Its time to listen to your ol mate BBIA.
This pandemic has affected every one one of our favourite eateries, burger joints, cafes and anything in between in the hospitality industry and if your like me there is NO WAY I'm spending Friday or Saturday night eating monday foods!

Make sure you keep some sanity in your taste buds and support your favourites in there time of need so that when we come out of this (and we will) we can continue to enjoy the things we enjoyed before. Plus let's be honest...you could use some fresh air 🤢

The guns at Sneaky Pickle are one such favourite that's hanging on. They're still churning out bloody amazing fried chicken, REAL American BBQ and arse tinglingly good burgers, Not to mention they've taken every precaution to maintain minimal contact with ya fellow man/woman although you'll have to restrain yourself from touching the staunch bloke behind the bar.

Get down Wednesdays through Saturday 5-8pm and help them help you cure the Pandy blues! I got Nashville fried chicken and a BBQ brisket sandwich and now I cant think of anything else 🤤.
