South Bank, we have something to tell you 🥹
After more than 14 years on Little Stanley St, Olé as you know it will be closing its doors on 5th October. But… before we tell you what the next chapter holds, we want to take a trip down memory lane 💃
A lot has happened since we opened in 2011. Instagram was heavily filtered, peplum tops were everywhere, eyebrows got bigger, side parts became controversial, TikTok took over and, for a little while, going out meant checking in and keeping 1.5 metres apart.
Through every era, Olé was there. For girls’ nights that turned into late nights, boys’ catch-ups, family dinners, birthday celebrations, first dates, long lunches and those “just one drink” plans that never stayed that way.
Somewhere between all the trends and changing times, friendships were made, milestones were celebrated and a lot of sangria was shared around our tables.
14 years is a long time. Long enough to grow up together.
Olé as you know it may be coming to an end, but our story on Little Stanley St isn’t.
