We’re incredibly proud to have been recognised by COEX as the 2026 Change Maker of the Year.
When we opened our first depot in Clontarf back in 2019, we had a simple vision..
To create container refund points that people actually enjoyed visiting.
Places where customer service mattered.
Where safety came first.
Where our sites were clean, welcoming and part of the local community.
Seven years later, that vision has grown from one depot into seven refund points, a dedicated team of more than 80 people, valued community partnerships and the privilege of serving thousands of Queenslanders across the state.
But what makes us most proud isn’t the number of sites we’ve opened, it’s the people behind them.
People see the depots, the trucks and the containers. We see the people who make it all happen.
This award belongs to our entire Express Recycling family.
To our depot managers, drivers, customer service team, sorters, maintenance, administration team, commercial team and everyone who proudly wears the Express Recycling logo each day… thank you.
