Thank you to Anthony for such a beautiful gesture to help one of our staff Alex and her children who tragically lost their husband and father recently at just 35.
Please support those who support others ❤️

Community has been at the heart of our Friday nights with our Raffles with a Cause. Together we have come together to support local families and charities when they need it most. This week, we’re beginning a new chapter.

From tonight, every raffle ticket sold will help raise funds for Alex and her three young children, following the tragic loss of her partner, Lachlan in June.

Many of you will know Alex from Ciao Coffee and Cakes. As a community, we’d love to help lighten the load in whatever way we can.

As you may know we are a Veteran owned business and last week when the new part of the War Memorial, Modern Day Conflict - Afghanistan Section was opened, we are proud to say Damien 🥰 was interviewed as part of the Interpreter Project and is now a permanent part of the video display. We ducked out this week and it looks awesome. If you haven’t been out to the War Memorial of late, now’s a great time to go out as they’ve done a great job 🙌

Tea and Scones, such an old favourite...What's your method of assembly? The Cornish way - with cream on top - or the Devon way- jam on top? Growing up with a Cornish mother, the Devon style was banned in our house 🤣. Just as well at Ciao you can mix it anyway you want...baked fresh on site. Scones, jam and cream with some tea, you just can't get more British than that!

Hi all. Just an update regarding the Legacy Fundraiser on ANZAC Day. Thanks to the support of Queanbeyan customers, we are proud to announce that we raised $1385 for Legacy Queanbeyan. Despite road closures etc, I think that’s an awesome figure to get to. Thanks for all your support and thanks to the staff for their hard work on the day.
