Welcoming the new menu!

Discover 3 unique creations, available starting this week:

The Pecan Illusion: a new version, 2026 edition with soft pecan nougat, roasted pecan praline, wh*te choc ganache, chocolate glaze, almond sponge.

Not a Key-Lime: layers of lime vanilla mousse, sponge, wh*te choc glaze, almond sponge base.

Australiana - The Native Range: Native thyme infusion in strawberry chantilly, strawberry glaze, and layers of almond sponge.

Cedric wants to bring back more native flavours to the menu, something we always make sure we did when we started in 2020. It turned out that it was niche in our already niche, so we hope that Perth is a little more ready now to discover the native species in creative desserts, outside the setting of fancy venues...🌱🌿

The Sneaky Illusion

Part of this month's selection, this one is for you if you miss the ice cream version of the famous chocolate bars.

Not an ice cream! Simply a nice indulging dessert with layers of wh*te chocolate ganache, soft caramel (in and out!), peanut pieces (in and out, too!), and m*lk chocolate glaze.

Gluten-free friendly, also.

Here is a little last-minute selection, because you remembered (yes, you did!), but didn’t get to go to the shop time yet…

We thought we had made a mistake…

We started offering the Chicken style seitan in retail vacuum-sealed bags so you could also enjoy them at home, at work… the way you want it, really…

But we also realised something; the price was lower to the Chicken-style mock meat we also sold as retail in the fridge from a big brand…

So we had to check, because as a small business in Perth, W.A, we’re mostly used to being pricier than a mass-made product. We’re at peace we it, because we know the truth of the cost of hard work and handmade products, and the health costs to it too…

Then, I called Cedric, ā€œHow long do you actually take to make it?’, ā€œAre we actually producing this quantity?ā€ …
I checked the numbers, everything added up..
Mind you, we could actually make some extra margin out of it… But we want people to try it, and have margin to maintain a reasonable price even if we get ingredients and wages increase…

It turned out it wasn’t a mistake… Our handmade chicken style seitan has a lower price than the mass-made we also sell at the shop.

No middle-man, no freight fees, made locally, with West Australian-grown gluten flour, and plenty of nice herbs and flavour!

This way, you truly support the local economy, you allow us to create employment (and your wallet is happy!)

And, we let the images speak for themselves… The texture and tastes can’t even be compared!

It wasn’t a mistake after all…

STARTING FRIDAY!

šŸ’Let’s welcome May with a new set of creations, bringing freshness, Australiana, and a treat you didn't know you wanted us to make…

The treat: Sneaky Illusion: not your usual mass-made chocolate bar… made the WHIP way, with white chocolate ganache, soft caramel, roasted peanuts, milk chocolate glaze. (GFF)

The Lychee-Berry Flower: rose-shaped dessert hiding layers of wafer crumble, lychee crƩmeux layers, fragrant raspberry glaze. (GFF)

Australiana: layers of Macadamia sponge, passionfruit Chantilly, macadamia praline, and passion fruit gel. (GFF)

Which one will you start the month with?

P.S: starting on Friday at the shop, but you can already pre-order them for Mother's Day! Be quick, before Sunday / Mother's Day orders close on Friday at noon.
