*Event Sustainability Assistant*
We are looking for a reliable and outgoing person to join our team for an event in October and assist with sustainability activities throughout the event.
This paid role would suit someone who has an interest or knowledge of sustainability and waste management, enjoys speaking with and engaging with people, and is comfortable with some hands-on work.
Key responsibilities:
- Support sustainability and waste-management activities during the event
- Engage with attendees, exhibitors and other event staff to encourage sustainable practices
- Answer basic questions about sustainability and waste management
- Set up, pack down and move event materials and equipment
- Lift and move boxes and other items as required
- Drive to and from the event and assist with transporting materials
What we’re looking for:
- Some knowledge, experience or genuine interest in sustainability
- Confident and comfortable speaking with and approaching people
- Friendly, approachable and professional
- Reliable and punctual
- Physically capable of lifting and moving boxes and event materials
- Current driver’s licence and confident driving
- Able to work independently
- Flexible and willing to help with different tasks during the event
Event: 24th October 2026 - Saturday
Type: Casual / short-term event work
Location: North Beach (Perth)
Time: 8am - 3:00pm
