The red and blue is flying at Heatherbrae and Ourimbah this weekend as we get behind the Newcastle Knights on their road trip to take on the Roosters! 🏉

No footy road trip is complete without a proper Aussie bakery stop. Grab a freshly baked pie for the game-weekend fuel, a great coffee for the drive, and soak up a little more Knights spirit before heading south.

Whether you’re leaving Newcastle or joining the convoy down the M1, call into Heatherbrae or Ourimbah and fuel up with a local favourite. Our bakeries are open 6am-9pm daily.

Slow-cooked chicken with mushrooms, onions and herbs in a rich red-wine sauce, inspired by the classic French dish.

2. Beef Stroganoff

Tender beef in a rich, creamy mushroom and onion sauce, with classic stroganoff flavours.

Heatherbrae has now been bypassed...

But GOOD NEWS - we are super easy to get to from the highway... you just need to know what to look for!

See signage and directions in these images - both for Northbound and Southbound travellers.

Some answers to your questions:

1. Yes our trading hours will remain the same - our friendly team look forward to welcoming you on your next visit
2. Yes! You can re-enter the M1 very easily after exiting for Heatherbrae - no need to back track
3. Yes, you will continue to feel good supporting local family-owned businesses, suppliers and staff by dropping into Heatherbrae :)

If you haven't already - come and visit our coeliac-accredited Gluten Free Bakery Cafe at our Ourimbah location. We now have a dedicated gluten-free cafe (the "Gluten Free Shed") at our Sutton Forest location too! Both gluten-free cafes open 8am-4pm daily! Come try one of our (now awarded) gluten-free sausage rolls!

A traditional favourite and one of our recipes that has been around for over 20 years! Chunky lamb, with potato and rosemary - a true classic!

2. Butter Chicken

A rich, aromatic flavour with tender chicken simmered with tomato, fresh ginger, cumin, coriander and garam masala, finished with silky cream and tangy yogurt.
