Our cousin Brigitte just sent us a fresh batch of tablecloths she sourced via her mum who moved back to Sicily.

Different prints and sizes. Some small ones perfect for your balcony table / some larger options if you’re hosting the entire family.

A little a bit of Taormina in the Innerwest!

Our selection will slowly increase and constantly evolve. You will find it on the right shelf when you come into the deli.
Local, French, Italian & Georgian of course!

No change about our w**e list, everyday from 12pm you can sit down for a glass of something delicious!

Wednesday the 16th of September - $95pp

MT ETNA - A Sicilian volcanic adventure. An interesting terroir with very unique energy. Especially if you get to witness an eruption from GrandMa’s hometown! With Giorgio from Giorgio de Maria Fun W**es
Wednesday the 14th of October - $110pp

THE OTHER RIGHT - From the Adelaide Hills in SA to Georgia via the Jura region. With w**emaker Alex coming up to Sydney for the occasion. The Other Right

collaborating with natural w**e importers & w**emakers we love to bring you exclusive w**e tastings. Every selection is thoughtfully matched with a whole dinner menu of snacks curated from the shelves of Marani Deli.
Each Supra night is exploring a region, producer, style of w**e or even a particular season or time of year. We do a lot of research and cook for a couple of days leading up to the event to create something very special for us all! Gather ‘round the big table at Marani Deli and let your tastebuds be guided by our passionate colleagues in a very convivial, casual and intimate setting. Just like we did in Georgia outside the Marani when we first visited w**emakers a few years ago.

CERAMICHE SICILIANE.
A few pieces we brought back from our last trip to GrandMa’s hometown Castiglione Di Sicilia. We met the wonderful signora Zullo who runs Akes, a beautiful shop in the centre of the town filled with ceramics made by Sicilian artisans. All unique pieces, all painted by hand.

🧀 ENTLEBUCHER BERGBLÜTENGENUSS
Here is a delicious semi hard cheese made with organic cow’s milk in the Swiss Alps.

A very hard one to pronounce but let me explain:
🇨🇭 Entlebucher refers to the town of Entlebuch in Lucerne’s region, it is also the name of a mountain herding dog breed 🐶
🏔️ Bergblütengenuss [simply] means mountain (berg) blossom (blüten) delight or enjoyment (genuss) 🌼

The flowers are infused into the cheese curd.

The result is a floral & herbaceous alpine cheese with a Raclette-esque attitude.

TRUFFLE CONVIVIALITY.
Last night we celebrated the peak of the truffle season at the deli with Jane & Jock from Meadows Road Truffles
I curated a menu of snacks to showcase the wonderful black truffles we get from Jane’s Truffière in Oberon NSW. I discussed w**e pairing with Christophe from French Flair to put together this elegant selection.
The result was a delicious, convivial & warm winter night. The truffles were shining!
