Join us on Saturday 3 October 2026 at Mountain Monk Brewers, held in conjunction with the Mount Beauty Markets!

🛍️ Mount Beauty Markets from 9am
🍻 Oktoberfest festivities from 11am
🎟️ FREE ENTRY

WHAT TO EXPECT:

🎶 Free live music all day, including traditional German tunes
🌭 German food and beer
🛍️ More than 70 market stalls
🐾 Dachshund races
🍺 Stein-holding competition
🏆 Best-dressed competition
🎨 Free face painting and kids’ entertainment
🎟️ Raffles

PROGRAM:

🎶 11am–1:30pm — Jus Gordon
🐾 1:30pm–2pm — Dachshund Derby
🎶 2pm–4pm — Squidjig, our headliner
🍺 4pm — Stein-Holding and Best-Dressed Competitions
🎶 4:30pm–7pm — Adam Lindsay Chill-Out Session

No bookings are needed—just come along! Tables are first in, best dressed, so bring some fold-up chairs or a picnic blanket in case you miss out on a table.

Proceeds from our race entry sales will go to Dachshund Rescue Australia

Pull out the lederhosen, dress up the kids—and the dachshunds—and join us for a huge day of German food, beer, music, markets and family fun in Mount Beauty!

A few people have already asked us why there are goats on our new Dunkelbock can…

The name gives it away: “Dunkel” means dark, while “Bock” is German for a billy goat!

So the goats aren’t just there because this beer is the GOAT—although it absolutely is. 😏🍺
