JUST ANNOUNCED

The Nationals will halve Victoria’s surgery waitlist by investing $1.27 billion towards SurgerySooner - a program that will give eligible Victorians choice and access to urgent surgery faster, at no extra cost.

Under Labor, people across the Shepparton District are waiting in pain for too long.

We are putting patients first by delivering an extra 25,000 surgeries a year.

Another inspiring story in today’s edition of Shepparton News.

Katie’s story highlights the toll cancer treatment can take on a person and their family.

It’s not good enough that some people in our community need to travel hours for cancer treatment. That’s why I’m fighting hard to secure the investment needed for an integrated cancer centre.

This would benefit not only the Shepparton District, but the wider catchment of over 200,000 people who rely on health services here.

Anyone who drives this road knows just how bad it is.

Connecting the Shepparton District and Murray Plains, the Echuca–Mooroopna Road has thousands of vehicles driving on it every day.

Labor lowers speed limits, does dodgy patch jobs or ignores it altogether.

The Nationals have an actual plan, including investing $5 billion to fix roads just like this one.
