A behind-the-scenes look at the Krause Brick production process 🧱

I had the privilege of touring the factory with Klynton Krause to better understand the bricks we lay every day.

Handmade, hand-stacked, zero waste and full of character. It was great to see the time, skill and passion that goes into every brick.

There’s something special about bringing the character of a heritage home back to life. Every detail matters—from the proportions and textures to the materials themselves.

For this project, we used handmade Krause bricks to faithfully replicate the original heritage façade, ensuring the new work blends seamlessly with the existing home. The rich colour variation, handcrafted finish, and timeless appeal make them the perfect choice when authenticity is the goal.

The result is a modern extension that respects the home’s history while creating beautiful new spaces to enjoy for generations.
