🤍 Anatolia – Part 7: Pamukkale – The White Miracle

Known as the “Cotton Castle,” Pamukkale is one of Türkiye’s most extraordinary natural wonders. Formed by thermal waters rich in minerals, its white travertine terraces have been flowing and reshaping the land for thousands of years.

Beside it stands Hierapolis, an ancient city built around healing, ritual, and renewal — where people believed water could restore both the body and the soul.

Pamukkale is not only a landscape — it’s a reminder that beauty can emerge slowly, quietly, and naturally.

👇 Like if this place feels unreal — and tag someone you’d walk these terraces with.

Do you know where Santa Claus actually comes from?

Not the Arctic.
Not the North Pole.

Santa Claus was a real person.
His name was Saint Nicholas.

He lived in Anatolia, in what is now Türkiye.
Near today’s Antalya, close to the ancient city of Patara.

Nicholas was known for generosity given in silence.
For helping the poor without being seen.
For kindness offered with no expectation of return.

Over time, his life became legend.
Those legends travelled across centuries and cultures.
And slowly, they shaped the Santa Claus we know today.

Before the red suit.
Before the reindeer.
Christmas was about generosity.

Merry Christmas from

🏔️ Anatolia – Part 6: Cappadocia – Land of Stone and Sky
No place on earth looks — or feels — like Cappadocia.
Carved from volcanic ash and shaped by centuries of human devotion, it’s a landscape of otherworldly valleys, cave homes, and secret faith.

Here, early Christians built churches underground to hide from persecution, painting their beliefs on rock walls in the quiet dark. Above ground, stone chimneys stretch into the sky like ancient prayers.

It’s not just a destination — it’s a living memory of resilience, art, and sacred survival.

👇 Like if you’ve dreamed of visiting Cappadocia — tag someone you’d float over in a hot air balloon with.
