This season, FOODstyling had the pleasure of feeding the Senior Footy lads and ladies at Black Rock Football & Netball Club, as well as catering some of the club’s larger seated fundraising events.
We have worked with many community sporting clubs over the years, and I have to say — these guys are right up there with the best.
BRFNC has a committee full of dedicated people who simply love their club, and that passion flows right through to the senior players and coaching staff. You know what they say — it starts at the top!
Every week, our team was genuinely thanked and appreciated by the players and coaches. That might sound like a small thing, but it means a lot. Sometimes collaborating as a commercial business alongside a community club can be a hard slog, but this collaboration just worked — and we’ve loved being part of it.
We look forward to continuing to work alongside BRFNC in the future.
But more importantly…
GET BEHIND YOUR LOCAL CLUB! 🖤🤍
Become a player. Volunteer. Sign up as a social member. Head down and watch a game. Support a fundraiser. Buy a drink. Bring the family.
Black Rock doesn’t have many community sporting clubs and we need to look after and support the ones we have.
I say that not only as a local business owner, but as a fourth-generation Black Rock resident. Clubs like this are an important part of what makes our community a community.
And the season isn’t over yet — BRFNC are still in with a chance in the finals! Get down to the games and support them wherever you can.
And if you or someone in your family has been thinking about pulling on the boots, get in touch with the club and register for next season.
And tomorrow is a BIG day for the Jets! 🖤🤍
🏉 Men’s Seniors — Win tomorrow and they finish 2nd or 3rd, securing a double chance in the finals.
🏉 Men’s Reserves — Win tomorrow and they finish on top of the ladder, earning a week off AND a double chance in the finals.
🏉 Men’s Open Grade — Win tomorrow and they’re FINALS BOUND — for the first time in 11 YEARS!
Three massive games. Three huge reasons to get behind BRFNC.
LET’S GO JETS! 🖤🤍🏉
