The wait is nearly over… ✨

This isn’t about changing the products you already know and love.

It’s about building a brand that has so much more behind it.

A new vision.
A bigger purpose.
A whole new meaning to what we’re building, and a whole new world for it to live in.

A new name.
A new look.

22 months vs 450 months 😂

We may have slightly underestimated the age range on these.

Because this is exactly what I wanted these mats to do.

Not only to keep the kids busy while we get something else done, but to give us an easy way to actually get down there with them.

No elaborate activity.
No setting anything up.
No pressure to entertain them.

Just pick a colour, pull up a spot and give them ten minutes.

And judging by these photos… you might be there a little longer than planned. 😊

P.S. Dad would like his pufferfish colouring skills formally acknowledged 👀😂

Calling all the mums who sometimes just want an option that isn’t another screen.

Something they’ll actually sit with. Something that sparks imagination, conversation, calm and a little bit of wonder.

That’s what I’ve always wanted these mats to be.

But somewhere along the way, I realised I wanted to build something much bigger around them too.

For our kids. For families. For our community.

The mats were only the beginning. But what we’re building around them is so much bigger 😍

At the end of this week, we finally reveal our new brand. 👀

When a mum tells you it’s helping with fine motor skills, pencil grip AND keeping the colouring off the walls… 🥹

This is exactly why I created these mats.

A space for your little ones to practise, create, make mistakes, wipe it clean and try again.

All without us stressing about what else they’re accidentally drawing on 😊

And hearing that she’s already noticing improvements? That’s the good stuff. ✨

15-year-old me used to sing on stages.
35-year-old me is now speaking on them. 🥹

I’ve come a long way from that 15 year old girl, but sitting up there sharing this mission felt pretty full circle.

We grew up before screens were everywhere.

We played outside until it got dark. We drew, imagined, got bored, and figured out how to make our own fun.

That little spark of childhood wonder is exactly what I want to help bring back.

Im here to create products, experiences and spaces that encourage kids to put the screens down, play, create, imagine and connect, in ways that include different little minds and make sure no child feels left out.

My mission has honestly never felt clearer.

And next week, we finally drop our new name. 🥹

This next chapter is a big one for me, for my family, and hopefully for yours too!

I hope you’ll follow along and help me bring a little more wonder back to childhood.

Here’s to raising a generation that never loses its spark. ✨

Tell me you’ve all been on this holiday with me?

There’s something really special about the engine off and the roller door quietly staring at me, wanting absolutely nothing from me except the anticipation of when I’m finally going to press its button.

For those that don’t know, I’m a graphic designer of 15 years, and I’ll say it …

I am by FAR,
the worst client I have ever had!

There have been swatches on my kitchen bench, swatches on the dining table, swatches sitting in a pile next to my laptop for weeks while I walked past them, sat on them, came back to them, and changed my mind about a thousand times.

These were the 3 real options.
Not mood boards, not vague ideas, actual finished palettes I could have run with.

And in the end I didn’t choose any of them.
I ended up taking the bits of my favourites and built something else.
