One of my favourite Thai dishes…. Haw mok Pla. I can’t believe I’ve never attempted to make it at home, it’s so easy. I have a banana tree, and that was all the inspiration I needed to get my Haw mok on!!! So yum.

Taking my son to visit his first home 🇹🇭 and land of birth. It’s been 5 years since we have returned to Thailand, a country that holds very dear to me, especially the cuisine. It’s my favourite in the world…. Traditional Thai food of course…. and it’s becoming a little harder to find as Bangkok is such an international medley of cuisines, but there is something sure to please everyone…. So whilst I’m on a mission to find the small traditional places to eat, with my son we will also be exploring the modern world of Bangkok first, and he wants to visit the shopping malls 😂

It’s the little things that bring me joy... like new life from tops of homegrown beets ❤️
So easy. Just cut the top off, leave it on a plate with some water, and watch it grow... replant it. You can do it with most root vegetables.
The celery grew from the same process.
