Six-plus years of early mornings, coffee, laughs, chaos, sunshine, rain and a whole lot of love.
Thank you for making our little coffee van what it is. Thank you for supporting us, believing in us and making us feel like we belong to something so much bigger than a business.
I appreciate every bit of kindness you show us, every lovely message, every word of appreciation and every familiar face that comes back week after week. You probably don’t realise just how much those little moments mean to us, and how they remind us that we are right where we need to be.
The last few weeks have been tough behind the scenes, and life has shown some of my friends and family just how fragile and vulnerable we all are. It’s made me appreciate even more the little chats you trust us with, the stories you share and the way so many of you feel comfortable being open and vulnerable with us.
There’s something really special about the little moments we share over a coffee. Sometimes we’re not just serving coffee, we’re listening, checking in, having a laugh, sharing a hard day or reminding each other that we’re not alone.
Maybe that’s what this little van has become. A place where we all meet, connect and carry a little bit of each other’s lives for a while, and I’m incredibly grateful that for the past six years, we’ve been able to do a little bit of that together.
I’ve also learnt these past couple of weeks, that not everyone ties their shoelaces the same way, and that’s ok!
