🌿 Meet Aimée ("em aye") - The Boss Lady Behind Banksia Food Co. and The Kelley Jane 💚

If you've visited Banksia Food Co., chances are you've already met Aimée! She's usually the one racing between the coffee machine, kitchen and cake bench... all while singing along to every classic. 🎤

🦘 Favourite Aussie animal: Sugar Glider (because who wouldn't love a tiny, flying fluffball?)

🥧 Favourite Aussie snack: Tim Tams... they're basically a food group.

☕ Coffee order: A Dirty Chai to survive winter, or an Iced Caramel Latte when the Perth sun is doing its thing.

🥧 Banksia favourite: Our homemade puff pastry pies. Freshly baked and packed with goodness! And our delicious chicken coconut curry (it does its rounds on the weeknight dinners!)

🎵 Shift soundtrack: If it's a 90s pop anthem, she's singing it... loudly. (The team may or may not secretly wish she'd stop. 😆)

👩🏼‍🍳 Biggest talent: Whipping up wholesome savoury dinners with no recipe (and sometimes no direction!) in site.

🎂 Hidden talent: Creating beautiful cakes and decorating them with way too much attention to detail.

🚫 One food she'll never eat: Smoked salmon. Yuck. Gross. That's a firm no!

😂 If she were an Aussie animal at the café? Aimée is basically the sugar glider of Banksia Food Co. – curious, resourceful, fiercely protective of her café family, and powered by endless energy. She is usually found gliding (or running like a headless chook) between the coffee machine, the stove and the never-ending to-do list, making sure her team is happy, her customers are smiling, and somehow keeping all the plates spinning!

💚 Fun fact: Aimée's biggest passion is creating a space where everyone feels welcome—whether you're popping in for a coffee, bringing the kids for lunch, cuddling your pup over a puppuccino, or celebrating life's special moments with Banksia catering.

🌿 Meet Eilidh ("ay lee") – Our Cool & Collected Café Legend! 💚

Eilidh is one of those people who's quietly brilliant at just about everything. She's calm when things get busy, always happy to help wherever she's needed, and brings a relaxed energy that keeps the whole café running smoothly. You probably won't catch her making a big fuss... unless someone starts talking geography quizzes. 🌏😄

🦘 Favourite Aussie animal: It's a tie between the elegant black swan and the wonderfully chunky wombat. Excellent choices if you ask us!

🥧 Favourite Aussie snack: Cherry Ripes and ANZAC biscuits. Sweet, classic and impossible to say no to.

☕ Coffee order: A long black. She calls it boring... we call it a classic.

🥕 Banksia favourite: Our Carrot Cake Bliss Ball. Small but mighty, just like her!

🎵 Shift soundtrack: Pretty much anything by Fontaines D.C. If they're on the playlist, Eilidh's happy.

🌏 Hidden talent: Absolutely dominating at GeoGuessr and naming countries on Sporcle. If there's a geography challenge, she's probably already won it.

🍽️ One food she'll never eat: Honestly... there isn't one! Eilidh's happy to give just about anything a go.

😂 If Eilidh were an Aussie animal at the café? A wombat, of course. Calm, easy-going, happy to trot around doing her thing, and completely unbothered by the chaos around her.

💚 Fun fact: Eilidh has a wonderfully calm nature that balances out the busy café perfectly. She's thoughtful, reliable and always willing to jump in wherever she's needed—making her an incredibly valued part of the Banksia family.

🌿 Meet Amari – Our Calm & Caring Queen! 💚

Amari brings a calm and thoughtful energy to every shift. She's always paying attention to the little things, has a heart of gold, and if Taylor Swift is playing... don't be surprised if she knows every single word. 🎶✨

🐨 Favourite Aussie animal: Koalas! Who could resist those sleepy little fluffballs?

🥧 Favourite Aussie treat: A big slice of pavlova. Light, fluffy and absolutely delicious.

☕ Coffee order: A creamy soy cappuccino to keep her going through the day.

🍪 Banksia favourite: Our M&M cookies. Soft, chewy and impossible to walk past without grabbing one!

🎵 Shift soundtrack: $20 by boygenius. Maybe not your typical pump-up song, but it's one Amari never gets tired of listening to.

🎤 Hidden talent: Reciting Taylor Swift lyrics... from just about any era! If there's a Swiftie challenge, she's ready.

🚫 One food she'll never eat: Risotto. It's a definite no thanks!

🌿 Meet Claudia – Our One of a Kind Superstar 💚

If you've met Claudia at Banksia Food Co., you've probably noticed her bopping before you've even reached the counter! She's always kind, somehow manages to be early to absolutely everything, and if Timber starts playing... don't be surprised if there's a little dance happening in the kitchen. 💃🎶

🦆 Favourite Aussie animal: The platypus! After doing a primary school presentation on them, Claudia now proudly considers herself a bit of a platypus expert.

🥧 Favourite Aussie treat: Christmas pavlova piled sky-high with cream and fresh fruit. The more toppings, the better!

☕ Drink of choice: No coffee for Claudia! A hot chocolate with a mountain of marshmallows is much more her style.

🍪 Banksia favourite: Our Biscoff cookies. She claims she comes to work for the customers... but the cookies definitely make it easier. 😆

🎵 Shift soundtrack: Timber by Pitbull and Kesha. Guaranteed to get Claudia dancing while she's working away in the kitchen.

🤸 Hidden talent: Handstands! She's ridiculously good at them and secretly loves being challenged to a handstand competition.

🚫 One food she'll never eat: BBQ sauce. It's a hard pass... and no amount of convincing will change her mind!

😂 If Claudia were an Aussie animal at the café? An emu, without a doubt! When things get busy, she's off in a flash—zooming around the café getting everything done.

🥧 Favourite Aussie food: It's a tie between Vegemite and a good chicken parmi. (A girl with excellent taste!)

🥤 Drink of choice: A thick chocolate milkshake is always the answer.

🍰 Banksia favourite: Cake pops! Because life is simply better with cake on a stick.
