Our New Zealand Pilsner lands today, as part of our Matariki celebrations. โœจ

Clean, crisp and new world. ๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡ฟ Riwaka and Nelson Sauvin hops bring grape, white wine, grapefruit and passionfruit. Easy drinking, plenty going on.

WED ๐ŸŸ๏ธ๐Ÿ’ญ
Itโ€™s the State of Origin decider. Trivia from 6PM, kick-off at 8PM, and kitchen open till 9PM - get a feed in before the game!

FRI ๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡ฟโœจ
We kick off Matariki with New Zealand tunes all weekend, hฤngฤซ on, and our kapa haka mates performing Friday night.

SAT ๐Ÿ‰
We keep rolling! Kapa haka through the day, then the rugby takes over. All Blacks at 3PM, then weโ€™re on the couch all night with Australia v France, and Japan v Ireland.

SUN ๐Ÿ””โšฝ๏ธ
Set an early alarm, England v Norway at 7AM. Weโ€™ll be open with cold beers, bacon and egg butties and batch coffee on.

โœจ Matariki at the Baa โœจ Fri 10 & Sat 11 July

Two days of good kai, live kapa haka and New Zealand tunes pumping from open to close. We're marking Matariki in partnership with Ngฤ Mฤtai Pลซrua, with live kapa haka on Friday evening and rolling through Saturday.

๐Ÿบ New beer, straight off the tanks: our New Zealand Pilsner. First pour, right here.

๐Ÿ”ฅ Then there's the hฤngฤซ. Slow-cooked, above-ground, the full spread: lamb on the bone, chicken, pork scotch, potato, pumpkin, cabbage, sweet potato, NZ chop suey and sliced white bread. Pavlova to finish.

Served from 12pm till sold out, both days. When it's gone, it's gone. Walk in for a beer and the atmosphere any time, but book ahead for the hฤngฤซ so you don't miss out.

Our regular menu's running all weekend too.

Booking a Matariki Hฤngฤซ:

Sittings run at 12pm, 2pm, 4pm, 6pm and 8pm, and each one goes for two hours, plenty of time to eat, share and enjoy before we turn the table over. Spots are limited and sell out, so choose your time and we'll have the kai ready. When you're done, pull up at the front bar and keep the day going.

Big thanks to the Honourable Jacinta Allan, who's given every pub showing the game a licence, so we're now staying open all night for the Socceroos.
