We wish to thank our family, friends, Kingston businesses, Council and locals of Kingston who called in to help us during yesterday’s disastrous weather event. We appreciate your kindness and support to help us battle through to protect our business from Mother Nature, and in our ongoing recovery & clean up. Over the last few weeks the Kingston foreshore, jetty & Rosetown area have taken a belting, it has been relentless and we are extremely saddened that the iconic and much loved Kingston Jetty now looks all but lost to the sea. This is an important community asset that is highly valued by our business, locals and tourists alike. It is a gathering place, a place to create memories in the salt air and an important piece of social, recreational and tourism infrastructure in Kingston. We sincerely hope that there will be a positive that can be found in the very near future with something new, and that some good will come from such destruction.
