This current crowd favourite combines Tasmanian octopus fresh off the woodfire grill, served on a bed of confit spiced sundried tomatoes & orzo, and a punchy tapenade crumb to finish.

Farewell the year that’s been and bring in 2026 by the water at Maria!

From 10:30pm on the 31st we will be swinging our doors open to all dinner guests + the public for a standing cocktail party 🍸 Expect a menu of delicious bevvies, a local DJ spinning all your favourite tracks, and of course stunning floor-to-ceiling views of the midnight fireworks to be shared with loved ones and new friends. πŸŽ†

Walk-ins only (subject to capacity) so first in, best dressed!

From 6:30pm wander through the Maria archway to our walk-in seating and groove along to local DJ who’ll be spinning some vinyls from our collection and his. And while you’re dancing, dive into our extendedΒ snack menu with items from our Chef’s Menu and a few new treats exclusively for the walk-in area.

Beginning November 8th, we’ll be making the most out of the warmer Hobart nights with our π™Žπ™π™‰π™Žπ™€π™ π™Žπ™€π™Žπ™Žπ™„π™Šπ™‰π™Ž πŸŒ… Think sexy tunes, delicious Med-inspired snacks, summer beverages and golden hour views of the beautiful harbour.

Wander through the Maria archway to our walk-in seating, every Saturday from 6:30pm, and groove along to a local DJ who’ll be spinning some vinyls from our collection and theirs (p.s. dinner guests needn’t worry, you’ll still be able to converse across the dining table); we’ll also be launching an extendedΒ snack menu consisting of items from our Chef’s Menu and a few new treats exclusively for the walk-in area.

🚨 New food alert 🚨

We’ve got some exciting new dishes rolling into Maria very soon, starting with this Toasted Walnut Bagna CΓ uda. Literally translating to β€œhot bath”, this traditional dipping sauce from the Piedmont region of Italy combines anchovies and a generous amount of garlic. We’ve added some local walnuts that have been lightly roasted + braised zuchini + the seeds, greens and oil of mustard + touch of local horseradish grated over the top.
