We're looking for two new team members to join the Wine Barrel family!

Front of House
• Minimum 5 years' hospitality experience
• Bar knowledge essential
• Cocktail making essential
• Wine knowledge preferred (but not essential)
• Must be available for split shifts Tuesday–Saturday (lunch & dinner)
• Approximately 20 hours per week, with the opportunity for increased hours from late October for the right applicant
• Immediate start available

Second Year Apprentice Chef

• Friday & Saturday night availability is essential
• Immediate start available

We’re excited to welcome two standout additions, now available exclusively by the bottle 🍾

The Marnong Estate Chardonnay brings a beautifully layered expression of cool-climate Chardonnay. Think pear and lemon aromatics leading into a textured palate of nutmeg spice, stony minerality, and a refreshing pithy citrus finish. Crisp, complex, and made for those who love a structured white with depth.

Alongside it, the Paringa Estate Pinot Noir delivers pure elegance from the Mornington Peninsula. Perfumed red cherry and spice on the nose open into plush, vibrant fruit, fine tannins, and bright acidity, finishing with a savoury edge that keeps you coming back for more.

On Friday night, we had the privilege of witnessing something truly special as this beautiful couple got engaged right here at our restaurant. 💍❤️

A huge congratulations to you both! It was an honour to work alongside Jamie to help create such a memorable moment, and we're so grateful to have been a small part of your story.

A special shout-out also goes to our talented musician Luke Pauley, who learned their special song to make the proposal even more meaningful. 🎶✨

What makes this story even more incredible is that these two first met at our restaurant five years ago to the very day that Jamie got down on one knee and asked the question. Talk about coming full circle! ❤️

We wish you both a lifetime of love, happiness, and unforgettable memories together. Thank you for letting us share in such a magical moment.
