Hello Sweet Spotters, it’s been a while!

I’m sorry for the radio silence, it’s been a busy month with a perth trip thrown in there every single weekend!
I’ve just had my first Saturday home in what feels like forever!
Life is busy, it’s been hectic. My brain is completely frazzled and a little overwhelmed.

I am however still here, still baking….just very very slow on admin!
I’ll be tackling my inbox tomorrow afternoon so everyone will have a reply by then!
Sorry!!

I have a huge backlog of cakes to post, but we’ll start with this one!

How absolutely gorgeous is she!
So many little details.
The textures.
The shells.
The colours.

The rectangle, square, easy serve cakes are in at the moment and I’m here for it.

This cake travelled all the way up to Monkey Mia for a special birthday celebration and made it there perfectly!

It’s been an incredibly crazy month and I’m so behind on Admin!
It’s also holidays and I’ve just done 3 weekends in perth and with one more to go some normal routine still won’t come until next week!

The year of the festival of 50 for many of my friends….lots of special ones like Bella!!

I first met Bella 16 years ago in an antenatal class in 2010…we were both pregnant with our first babies!
I remember her being so passionate about making sure our Gina’s and insides didn’t fall apart when it came to pushing out that watermelon 🫠

Now I’m always bothering Bella with questions as to what to do with the pains and strains in my ageing body and she laughs… im the wrong kind of physio Soph 🤣🤣🤣

My fellow Pom, We’ve done lots of fun things, played sport together, been each others cheerleader and it’s So awesome that our children are friends and do those things too!!

We love you Bel 🫶🏾

He is the absolute cutest little man!!!

Time is a thief and he is growing up so fast!!
Hearing him form sentences now is pretty cool, but it was only 2 mins ago he would crawl and sit with me and my hot chips at footy 😭 slow down time!!
