What’s on for your day?

We’ve had a sleep in and the rest of the day is food planning/shopping, a nature walk somewhere, maybe a board game and then it’s movie night for us 😊 Plus housework of course.

We’re always really tired after our baking and market days so we try to have a rest day afterwards.

Interactions/Comments: (as accurate as we can remember them - sorry if we missed anyone)

We had some excited vegans happy to find plenty to eat.

We had a mum that was grateful to find dairy free cupcakes nice and early in the morning so that she could take them to a birthday party so that her kids don’t miss out.

We had a vegan stall next to us that were trying to get support for more safe animal movement corridors and our friendly regulars returned to buy their favourites.

Summary:

It was a beautiful day, but unfortunately sales were down even after taking a week off.

This was the cabinet at the end.

We’ve been gradually baking less and less each week, but we still can’t manage to sell out.

Luckily our after market customer took our leftovers so now we’re out of stock.

Thank you to everyone that came today, it was great to see you and we appreciate it so much 🙏

It was great to have time off where we weren't sick and could actually relax and enjoy ourselves (I didn’t even have a single headache! 😊)

We all enjoyed our week without tv, video games and social media (yes even the kids) and it was so good to switch off from everything.

We only used our phones for photos, maps and banking.

We definitely recommend a break if you’re feeling stressed and overwhelmed - don’t wait until you end up sick and burnt out 💕
