Proud would be an understatement. We’re deeply grateful that so many q***r couples have trusted us with one of the most important moments of their lives.

When growing Rupert, we set out, as incurable romantics, to create a space where every love story is honoured, celebrated and welcomed. A place where people from all walks of life feel at home.

We’re proud to play a small part in these celebrations and grateful for the trust our LGBTQIA+ couples place in us. We’ll continue celebrating q***r love stories this month and every month.

Speeches at Rupert tend to say a lot about the people in the room. Family dynamics, old friendships, different cultures, shared histories, inside jokes. The best ones feel less like a performance and more like a glimpse into the couple’s world.

Being part of that for an evening is always a privilege - witnessing the laughter, the occasional embarrassment, and the kind of stories that only get told by the people who know you best.
