Just a quick little update from me.
As of Monday the 23rd, we’ll be adjusting our trading hours.
You have spoken… a lot… and one thing has been crystal clear:
You don’t want “just another café.”
You want Ombra… with coffee 🤣
Now that dinner is growing organically (and yes — we’re currently ranked #1 on Google for handmade pasta in Chermside 🙏), I want to take your advice and show the café some proper love.
I’m going to strip things back a little and focus on making the menu more uniquely us.
We’re not a trendy, style-over-substance café.
We’re a casual, community spot that focuses on outstanding handmade pasta… and we’re bringing that same energy to brunch.
So expect:
• A tighter, more focused brunch menu
• Fewer options, done better
• Drinks that feel thoughtful, not generic
• Seasonal tweaks instead of big bloated menus
Less trying to compete with everyone.
More doubling down on what makes Ombra, Ombra.
