🎤 SATURDAY NIGHT KARAOKE — TONIGHT AT THE DOWNUNDER! 🎤

Last night was an absolute monster — 81 songs from 64 singers, with the mic getting a serious workout from start to finish.

Sticky Fingers, Justin Bieber and Fiji all earned double plays, while the legend who took on AC/DC’s It’s a Long Way to the Top deserves a bloody medal. From Bohemian Rhapsody to Total Eclipse of the Heart, Cairns certainly wasn’t short on confidence. 😂

The prize wheel was firing too! Rory O scored $25, while Obak J, Fenty B and Phoebe A each picked up $10. LEXY D won a mystery prize but disappeared before collecting it — rookie error, mate!

And now we’re doing it all again TONIGHT — Saturday, 11 July!

What a night at The Downunder Bar! We had 39 songs belted out by 29 legends who absolutely brought the energy.

From Meredith Brooks to System of a Down, plus Backstreet Boys, Smash Mouth, Linkin Park and a bloody ripper performance of “I Wish I Was a Punk Rocker” — the variety was all over the shop in the best possible way!

🎱 STATE OF ORIGIN + DOUBLE POINTS AT THE DOWNUNDER!

Last week was an absolute cracker.

Sean Reynolds came out of nowhere and claimed the Wednesday crown, taking home the top prize in front of 23 hungry competitors. Charlie “Dad-C” put up a hell of a fight in the final but had to settle for second, while Thomas “Bola” Satrick and Ali “Alchemy” Satera both grabbed equal third with 19 points each.

Solid efforts as well from Jim “James” Harris, Tony “Couchman” Harrison, Paulz “Paulz” Waia, and Charlie “Chucks” Sailor rounding out the top eight.

But now things are about to get spicy.

This Wednesday is State of Origin night, and we’re turning it up with another DOUBLE POINTS NIGHT at The Downunder.

That means one good run could completely change your season.

With only five weeks left until finals on August 8th, the race is heating up something fierce. Ali “Alchemy” Satera is sitting pretty at the top with 106 points from just four weeks — absolute weapon. Jim “James” Harris, Kaitanu Clubb, Oliver Asmussen, and Tony “Couchman” Harrison have all locked in their finals spots, but there is still plenty to play for.

Frankie Walker and Josh Mooka are right there, breathing down everyone’s necks just outside qualification — and with double points on the table, nobody is safe.

The jackpot is now sitting at a juicy $630, the Origin will be on the screens, and the pool tables are ready for war.

Sean Reynolds proved last week that anyone can have their moment, jumping from 16th and making a serious statement.

🎤 Last night's karaoke photos are up… and the evidence is absolutely glorious. 👀

What a massive Friday night at The Downunder! 64 legends grabbed the mic and smashed through an incredible 90 songs, turning the place into absolute chaos in the best possible way.

The playlist went everywhere. We had Gorillaz, Oasis, Bohemian Rhapsody, Justin Bieber, and even Jimmy Buffett's Mele Kalikimaka making a surprise Christmas appearance in the middle of the year. Somehow it all worked!

Dirty Harry and Wonderwall both got double runs because apparently hearing them once just wasn't enough.
