It's with sadness that I am having to close the business side of my baking and cook for family and friend events only.
The rising cost of ingredients has meant that I cannot cover costs of cakes at previous prices and it is not my intention to raise the cost of my cakes to completely unaffordable levels.
My prices have essentially never included labour and are only to cover basic costs of ingredients and decorations. I have charged below cost for a number of years now which has meant being out of pocket for most cakes I have made in order to keep reasonable prices.
Thank you for all of your support over the last few years, especially to my repeat customers.
I will still be baking from time to time so I hope you still enjoy my fancy cakes on this page. Hopefully I can take orders again in the future, but for now, it is goodbye.
