This isn't a post we take joy in writing.
Like many of you, we've watched the cost of living continue to climb. Rent and mortgages have increased, fuel costs have risen, and everyday expenses seem to be creeping up everywhere you look. We know that every dollar matters because we're feeling it too.
For as long as we possibly could, we absorbed those rising costs ourselves. We made the conscious decision to keep our menu prices as affordable as possible because we know what it means to gather around a great meal with the people you love. But this year has brought several significant changes for small hospitality businesses. From increases in wages and the rising cost of quality ingredients, to higher operating expenses and changes that mean businesses can no longer recover some payment processing costs, the reality is that continuing to absorb every increase is no longer sustainable.
So, we've had to make a difficult decision.
You'll notice a small increase across some of our menu items, often just 50 cents.
We know no one gets excited about paying a little more, and we completely understand that. But that small increase helps us continue doing the things that matter most: paying our incredible team fairly, using the quality ingredients we refuse to compromise on, keeping our ovens burning, and ensuring we're still here serving this community for many years to come.
We could cut corners. We could buy cheaper ingredients. We could make our portions smaller.
But that's never been who we are.
Every pizza you order, every burger you enjoy, every meal you share with family and friends helps support a local business, local jobs, and a team who genuinely loves serving this community.
Your support means far more than you probably realise, and we're so grateful that we get to continue doing what we love because of you. So whilst it's an extra 50c on the pizza you love so much, it's us saying yes to hiring the next youngster joining the workforce for the first time. Decisions like this keep small businesses' doors open.
