Vintage time. 1998.
The Sexton brothers; Geoff, Bill and Peter purchased the old shops in late 1994.
In 1995/6 - big improvements started. 😍
Lots of love went in to repaint, repair and turn the old flat in to 3 lovely retail spaces. The timber floors polished, new big glass panels and a paved garden courtyard.
Karen Sexton took on the semi derelict Corner Store. Revamped it in to Hillsdon Convenience & Coffee. w
Offering groceries, fresh produce, an international Deli range, Cafe offerings cakes, sandwiches, salads and right beside the checkout a proper espresso machine! Quite rare in the burbs back then. 😄
All with inside and courtyard seating.
Hours were 7am till 8pm - every day. A popular stop for a coffee and snack for local Police and shift workers 😁
