What a LOVELY, cruisy Sunday at Akoonah today. 🥰

Our Spring showers arrived early… and apparently so did the Father’s Day donut orders! 😂🍩💙

We had boxes heading out of TP bright and early, filled with hot fresh, sugar-kissed happiness for some very lucky dads.

But one of my favourite little moments today was happening over on our display table… 🥹

This weekend marked the beginning of our OMG Donuts Casey 5th Birthday Festival, and our gorgeous new Tutti Fruiti colouring-in sheets made their debut.

And the kids LOVED them. 🌈✏️🍩

They walked off TP’s display table all day long — one little Tutti Fruiti after another heading home to be coloured in. 💛

It was such a simple little thing, but after all the work that has gone into creating our birthday celebration, seeing the kids actually enjoying it made my heart very happy.

And Tutti Fruiti? Well, I think our fruity little superstar has done a rather fabulous job leading the birthday parade. 😂🍊🍓🍍

The rest of the day was just beautifully easy — chatting with our regulars, welcoming new faces, serving up delicious hot fresh donuts and enjoying our wonderful market community.

Donuts. Communities. Inclusion. Joy.

That really is what these five years have been about. 💛

Yep. Somehow this little OMG Casey adventure has now been serving up sugar-kissed happiness for FIVE YEARS. 🥹💛

Five years of market mornings, hot fresh donuts, enormous boxes, sell-outs, celebrations, regulars who became friends, new faces discovering us for the first time… and more cinnamon sugar than we could possibly count. 😂🍩

So there was NO WAY we were squeezing this birthday into one day.

WE’RE CELEBRATING ALL SEPTEMBER! 🎈🎉🌈

Welcome to the OMG Donuts Casey 5th Birthday Festival!

We’ve got some fun planned throughout the month, including our very own little Birthday Parade of donut characters, some special birthday fun for the kids and a few surprises along the way. 👀

I popped into a VERY familiar little spot this afternoon to put up our OMG promo goodies…

…and before I’d even finished, the gorgeous crew were telling me that customers have already been asking if we’re coming back this Saturday. 🥹💛

TP is rolling back in this Saturday to spend the morning with our beautiful besties at Good Food Emporium in Narre Warren!

And walking back into that space today was just lovely. The welcome from the team, hearing that some of you have already been asking about us… THIS is the stuff that makes being a little local business pretty special. 🥰

Some Sundays are busy. Some are cruisy. And some just feel like catching up with old friends. 🥹💛🍩

Today was definitely one of those.

A few beautiful familiar faces appeared at TP today — customers I haven’t seen for a little while — and it always makes me smile how quickly it turns into…

“HEYYYY! Where have you BEEN?!” 😂🥰

Because somewhere along the way, so many of our regular customers have stopped feeling like customers.

They feel like old friends popping in for a visit. 💕

Today we had Mum + the kids arriving on their bikes 🚲, familiar faces popping up at the serving window for a chat and, of course, our beautiful Renn 🐶, who did an excellent job of bringing her humans to Akoonah today. 😂💛

It wasn’t a crazy Sunday.

It wasn’t a sell-out Sunday.

It was just a really lovely, cruisy Akoonah Sunday — talking, laughing, filling boxes and handing donuts across TP’s little serving shelf.

And sometimes those are the days that remind me most why I still love doing this. 🥹🍩

Tonight’s Reel is a little collection of those everyday TP moments — boxing them up, handing them over and watching another box of OMG goodness head off with one of you.

Because after five years of OMG Casey…

the donuts are only half the story.

Yesterday morning was looking VERY purple at OMG Casey!

And it reminded us just how much fun we can have matching our donuts to a theme…

The sun was shining, the market was absolutely BUZZING and from pretty much the moment we opened TP’s window, the donuts started flying. 💛

Hot Jams disappearing faster than we could keep up…

And our newly glowed-up Sprinkle Gang?

Well, apparently Piinkaboo and friends have already developed quite the fan club. 😂🌈🍩

Those sparkly little show-offs strutted their way straight out the door!

By the end of the day…

SOLD. OUT. 🙌

And judging by Akoonah’s feed this afternoon, we weren’t the only foodie stall getting absolutely cleaned out today. What an incredible day for our beautiful local market. 💛

So tonight’s little reel is simply a slice of real OMG Casey market life — another box of 12 being packed up and heading across TP’s counter to one of the many gorgeous customers who kept us VERY busy today.
