Our monthly members would have all gotten their CSA orders by now & are reporting back that it feels like a grounded shopping system

when you meet your farmer and vote with your dollar, it feels so good receiving nutritious food

Everything becomes more valuable - the meals that are prepared, shared and served turn into a ritual rather than just consumption - it’s the little things that count

Labels can say a lot - but they don’t tell you who raised your food.

“Grass-fed”, “natural”, “free-range”… without knowing the farmer, it’s almost impossible to know what those words really mean.

We ship our beef from the farm to local regions, and you’re welcome to visit to see our soils and systems for yourself. We have nothing to hide. We operate with complete transparency, and we’re proud to share our land and stewardship with our community.

Know your farmer. That’s the real label.

Not long ago we hosted the nutrient dense food association on our farm for a talk after becoming very inspired by their work and they have finally produced some useful and insightful results.

Healthy land = healthy food

It is our responsibility as land stewards to preserve these standards

Every ~6 months, we fill our freezer with an animal raised right here on the farm.

One of the biggest benefits of on-farm processing (when it’s for our own family) is full transparency - and full respect for the whole animal.

It also means our friend Luigi from The Patch can access the entire animal for biodynamic preparations, supporting the bigger picture: healthy soils, healthy ecosystems, and honest food from the ground up.

We’re proud to do this work with care, and we’ll always keep the conversation going about what’s possible (and what legislation currently prevents) when it comes to truly local, ethical meat.

Winter’s here and we’re making it too easy to get broth on repeat.

Beef bones are on sale - 10kg for $50 🙌

Perfect for a big batch of nourishing bone broth to use in soups, stews, sauces, ramen, or just sipped warm with a pinch of salt.

How to make it (no fuss):

Pop bones in a pot/slow cooker → cover with water → optional splash of vinegar + salt → low & slow → strain → cool → store.

Keep it in the fridge for the week or freeze in portions (ice cube trays are elite).

If you’ve been meaning to get into broth… this is your sign.
