There was a time when Food Voyageur was just a dream in my head.

Now, seeing a room full of people who chose to spend their day learning from me is something I'll never take for granted.

Watching everyone create, laugh, ask questions, and leave feeling more confident reminded me exactly why I started Voyageur Academy.

Every day is filled with decisions I’ve never made before.
There are no guarantees.
No roadmap.
No certainty that everything will work out.

There are moments when I question myself.
Moments when I wonder if I’m good enough.
Moments when fear feels louder than faith.

But then I’m reminded of what God says:

“Do not be afraid, for I am with you.” — Isaiah 41:10

Failure isn’t the opposite of success.
It’s part of the journey.
Every setback teaches.
Every mistake grows you.
Every challenge shapes the person you’re becoming.

So today, I’m choosing faith over fear.

I’ll keep showing up.
I’ll keep learning.
I’ll keep building.

Not because I know the outcome…
but because I know Who walks with me.

One oven.

Saturday at Food Voyageur is not for the weak.

While Melbourne is sleeping in, we’re already in the kitchen before sunrise — packing deliveries, stacking cupcakes, checking orders, and making sure every cake leaves perfect.

The drivers start loading. The boxes line up. The coffee kicks in.

Then it’s straight into finishing last-minute cakes — piping buttercream, placing cherries, adding ribbons, fixing final details. Every cake still made by hand. No shortcuts.
