Peter Rabbit is seeking an experienced Sous Chef to join our kitchen!

SOUS CHEF ~ full-time position.
The successful candidate will:
• have experience and thrive in fast paced environments
• have 1+ year experience in breakfast service as a Sous Chef (or other managerial position) in a well structured organisation or 2+ years experience as Chef de Partie.
• have availability over a 7 day roster, where weekend work will be required
• be extremely clean, organised, and calm under pressure.
• be passionate about our team members’ growth and development
• be punctual, reliable, and highly skilled in cookery
• have very strong leadership skills, great communication skills, and a positive attitude
• have a strong knowledge of OH&S standards
Role responsibilities include:
• consistently producing food to a high standard and ensuring consistency from their team members
• delegating tasks, including daily and weekly cleaning
• assist the Head Chef with ordering duties and successful stock rotation
• creating a positive, supportive and lighthearted environment in the kitchen
The Sous Chef must be available for 6:30am starts and may be required to work the ocasional function. Only experienced Sous Chef or Chef de Partie will be considered for this role. This role is not suitable for a student or anyone with Visa work limitations.
