Yoga was never meant to be something we perform.
It was never about touching your toes, mastering a pose, or looking a certain way.
At its heart, yoga is a practice of remembering.
Remembering the wisdom of the body.
Remembering the rhythm of the breath.
Remembering that beneath our stories, achievements, fears, and differences, we are deeply connected.
In a world that often asks us to move faster, do more, and become something else, yoga invites us into a different conversation:
To listen.
To soften.
To be present.
Whether your practice is dynamic or still, whether you’ve been practicing for twenty years or are stepping onto the mat for the first time, yoga belongs to everyone.
Today, we honour this ancient tradition and the countless teachers, students, and seekers who continue to keep its wisdom alive.
May we practice not to become someone new, but to come home to who we already are.
Happy International Yoga Day.
With gratitude,
The ZOGA Community
